Protein Packed Overnight Oats

You can make this recipe using Steel Cut Oats ( my personal favorite 😋 ) or you can use regular rolled oats. Adjust your recipe according to the type of oat you use. 

1/4 cup steel cut oats  or    1/2 cup rolled oats 

1 tablespoon chia seeds

1 tablespoon flax seeds

1 teaspoon cacao 

1 scoop protein powder - I use Orgain ( aprox 25 grams ) 

Splash of Vanilla 

1/2 cup almond milk ( or your liquid of choice ) 

Mix together 

Topping: 

I make a mixture using Fage Greek Yogurt* , Coconut Milk (can), Vanilla, Sugar Free Pudding (vanilla), shredded coconut. 

I don't measure ... I just wing it until I like the consistency and taste. It also varies based on how many bowls I am prepping. TBH I got sick of measuring out everything. 

** Fage greek yogurt ( any greek yogurt is fine ) This is thicker and makes it easier to spread on top of the oatmeal than regular yogurts. 

Cover and let sit overnight in the fridge. 

Enjoy the next day! 

I typically make 3 days worth at a time. 

I don't know the macros because I don't care what they are. I am learning to intuitively eat and fuel my body with what it needs. Whole food nutrition packed with omega 3's, healthy fats! This has replaced my morning shake in a far more satisfying way.
